Prenatal to Three Program Evaluation Project

Evidence-based interventions with vulnerable families from pre-natal to age three can help support early childhood development, resulting in improved long-term health outcomes

Summary

This project will measure the outcomes of a pre-natal to three program designed to support vulnerable expectant mothers and families. The program is designed as a demonstration project that uses a comprehensive, collaborative, multi-sectoral approach to improving outcomes for expectant families and those with children from birth to 3 years who are at the greatest risk of failing to reach their full developmental potential. It will offer centre-based early learning and care, home visitation, parenting education, and family support that includes fathers or another significant caregiver of the child.
