We are pleased to announce the first Max Bell Senior Fellow, Barry Worbets.
Barry brings extensive experience with environmental management in the energy industry to his role as Max Bell Senior Fellow. His impressive career achievements bridge the private and non-profit sectors, and are a testament to the energy and wisdom he brings to his work.
In the year ahead, Barry will work at the challenging interface between global energy demand and growing environmental expectations. Informed by widespread policy movements towards a reduced carbon footprint from the production and consumption of energy, Barry’s efforts during 2011 will focus on the impact of new energy circumstances on the resource-rich, export-driven western Canadian economy.
