Donna Miller Joins Max Bell Foundation Board of Directors

Max Bell Foundation is pleased to announce that Donna Miller of Winnipeg has joined our Board of Directors.

Ms. Miller was appointed clerk of the executive council and cabinet secretary in Manitoba in 2015. Prior to that, she served as Deputy Minister of Justice and Deputy Attorney General of Manitoba.

In addition to her career in the public service, Ms. Miller taught at the Faculty of Law and Department of Political Studies at the University of Manitoba. She also held a position as executive-in-residence at the Manitoba Institute for Policy Research.

Ms. Miller obtained her BA from The University of Winnipeg before completing law degrees at the University of Manitoba and Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. She was the lead counsel in many constitutional cases before the Supreme Court of Canada.

As a lawyer she was appointed as Queen’s Counsel and she received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Award for her contribution to public service.
