Summary
In order to ensure that microbial contamination does not undermine the health of Canada’s food supply, policies must be implemented to actively prevent contamination in the field and to meet market expectations in terms of food safety. The purpose of this project is to develop a system for monitoring irrigation water to fill a gap in the Canadian Food Safety System.
