Better Measurement Tools to Improve Indigenous Education in Canada

A better understanding of current outcomes allows for targeted interventions

Summary

This 6-month research, publication, and communication project that will make the case to relevant audiences that Canada should consider requiring an “Indigenous” identifier in its implementation of the PISA survey of educational outcomes. Doing so would improve the ability of policy and practice decision makers focused on Indigenous education to understand the effects of their decisions.
