Summary
This organization has already successfully participated in securing pandemic related moratoriums on age-based cutoffs in several jurisdictions. This project would build on that momentum, and work to secure an alternative model for transitioning out of care. The project will support the following objectives: (1) to finalize a set of transition standards with the participation of youth in care, and advocate for their adoption, and (2) to consult with stakeholders on the standards.
