Summary
This project will result in three research reports that will provide information about the ways in which Aboriginal communities can be in engaged in resource development projects, while also ensuring best practices in environmental management and oversight. These reports will examine the evolution and effectiveness of Aboriginal community engagement and its effectiveness in preventing environmental and community disruptions. The reports will also suggest best practices in order to create environmentally sound, properly managed development projects that bring prosperity and opportunity.
