Informing Policy Decision for a Low-carbon Workforce Transition

Better public policy related to low-carbon workforce transitions requires local and accessible community-level data on workforce vulnerability.

This grant supports a series of research papers by external experts related to the work of IRPP to map the sectors, workers and communities that are vulnerable to the changes associated with the low-carbon transition; analyze worker skills needs and community characteristic; and identify the types of tailored policy tools that can reduce risk and improve societal outcomes.
