Scaling Up Social and Emotional Learning Programs in Atlantic Canada

Summary

This project will scale an in-school social and emotional learning program across all four Atlantic provinces. Canadian children and youth experience significant challenges related to their social and emotional well-being. Evidence-based and research-tested in-school programs improve emotional and social competencies among children and youth, reduce aggression and behavior problems, and thereby improve the longer term prospects for participants. The goal of this project is to expand the reach of this initiative and its positive outcomes across the Atlantic provinces.
