Margaret-Jean Mannix Joins Max Bell Foundation Board of Directors

Max Bell Foundation is pleased to announce that Margaret-Jean Mannix of Calgary has joined our Board of Directors.

Ms. Mannix has a keen understanding of international business practices in Canada, Great Britain and China. In addition to management experience in global private banking, she has held a variety of positions in her family’s businesses since 1995. Ms. Mannix is currently Chairman of a private Family Office, where she is responsible for the oversight of the office.

Ms. Mannix serves on the Boards of Business Families Foundation (BFF), Institute for Family Enterprise (IFEA), and Mancal Corporation. She is a former member of the Board of the Alberta Business Families Institute (ABFI), the Alberta College of Art & Design (ACAD), Loyola University’s Family Business Center, and the Business Families Center at UBC’s Sauder School of Business.

Ms. Mannix has been involved in philanthropic governance roles for 20 years, and she is currently Chairman of her family foundation.
