This grant supported the May 2009 conference of the Canadian Environmental Grantmakers’ Network held in Banff, Alberta. The conference featured leading thinkers on keys issues surrounding the environment, equity and economy. CEGN sought to showcase innovative approaches to harnessing market forces and responding to equity concerns by bridging sectors and pursuing a shared environmental mission.
