Informing Primary Care Reform

Primary care reform inevitably requires trade-offs, and those should be informed not only by experts and practitioners, but also by patients themselves.

The goal of this project is to contribute to an actionable consensus among federal and provincial decision-makers and related professional associations on primary care reform priorities by: Engaging with Canadians – particularly those least served by the status quo – in an innovative way around options for primary care reform; Integrating the results with findings from peer-reviewed literature; Developing a “blueprint” for primary care reform; and Strategically communicating the results of the work.
