Supporting the Reuse of Wood in Construction

Integrating reclaimed wood throughout the building lifecycle could divert tonnes of used wood from landfills, avoid tonnes of CO₂e emissions, reduce material costs, and generate billions in revenue and thousands of green jobs in Canada

The proponent is taking a policy collaborative approach with government, academia and industry to undertake research, testing and engagement aimed at developing evidence, best practices, and demonstration projects on wood reuse.
